The Lifeboat Station Project

The lifeboat station project is the 8-year mission to photograph 238 RNLI (The Royal National Lifeboat Institution) lifeboat stations on glass. This is a documentary project about the lifeboat volunteers, for the lifeboat volunteers who save lives at sea in the UK and Ireland run by Jack Lowe who has a passion for photography since he was a young boy. The organization has been entirely funded by voluntary contributions for nearly 200 years and everyone has a chance to participate by buying one of these incredible photographs made on glass.
