This Australian business has been hard at work improving and setting records with their electric hydrofoil watercraft. After the original Fliteboard and its successor, series 2, the company is back with series 2.2 and enhancements to the board's functionality, toughness, and safety. At 34 mph (55 kmph/29 knots), fliteboard achieved records for the fastest eFoil speed in the world in 2021. Signature titanium plates have been added to the new Fliteboard in place of the previous aluminum model. The titanium plates reduce the weight and increase impact resistance of the Fliteboard while also giving it a high level of corrosion resistance. The same premium 21700 cells that are utilized in high-power applications, such hypercars, have been made available by flite, offering remarkable performance. Additionally, phase-changing material (PCM), which offers improved thermal management, has been incorporated.
