ROSELLA - NEW YORK SUSHI SPOT FOCUSING ON SUSTAINABILITY

Located in East Village, New York, Rosella is an American sushi restaurant with an emphasis on sustainability offering locally caught fish and shellfish, approved by Seafood Watch or NOAA prior to being available on the menu. The majority of different species of fish are sourced locally or from sustainable farms in Europe or around the US. You can find them in the duo’s 15-to-18-course tasting menu, which consists of a mix of nigiri and small plates, and a very comprehensive a la carte selection. The restaurant owners' focus to stay local does not stop only at their fish. Their miso, vinegar and many of the wines are also procured from local sources. The Rosella restaurant's vision is to create a community that will inform and influence others to do what's right for the planet and its ecosystem. This exclusive fish spot is good proof to those who might still think that American fish isn't good enough.
