Many are familiar with drive-in movies format from that past which is getting a sort of re-incarnation due to the current pandemic. But how about boat-in or float-in theaters? Cities and businesses getting creative because of all the restrictions and social distancing. This past Saturday, July 18, Paris gave this concept a try on the bank of the Seine River. Movie-floaters were watching the Gilles Lellouche's "Le Grand Bain" from 38 electric boats. Each boat can fit up to 6 people from the same family or friends circle. Those who didn't get a boat could enjoy the movie from 150 deckchairs places on the Quai de Seine. The event is a part of an annual Paris Plages with a new approach set on the river at the Bassin de la Villette. With free attendance, the summer season is now open.
