A Rum Fit For The Old Man and the Sea

The rumor goes that Ernest Hemingway wrote his legacy-creating story, The Old Man and the Sea, while sailing aboard the Pilar. This year marks seventy years since the introduction of the groundbreaking novel, and what better way to celebrate than with a bottle of fine rum crafted in the spirit of Hemingway’s story and the sea. This dark rum blend was created with nine premium rums sourced from all over the world. While enjoying a glass of this fine spirit, aged in French apple oak brandy casts, you can rest assured that each bottle honors the very same ocean it so humbly honors. Every bottle purchased of Papa Pilar’s Rum donates $20 to the reef conservation effort, the Guy Harvey Foundation.
