Earlier this year Ocean Infinity launched the largest fleet of unmanned marine surface robots, the Armada fleet. With the focus on combining technology and sustainability, the fleet revolutionizes the acquisition of ocean data by using innovative, totally unmanned, low emission fleet robotics that can be launched from even the remotest shorelines on the globe. The fleet is controlled and operated by experienced mariners via satellite communications from state-of-the-art onshore facilities, which removes the need for a host vessel. Each robot vessel will serve multiple industries by being fully equipped to perform a multiplicity of offshore data acquisition and intervention operations down to a depth of 6,000 meters with capabilities to remotely deploy a variety of sensors, AUVs, and ROVs for visual and data collection.
