The 85-foot Drakkar S is a new “smartyacht” concept created by yacht design studio Max Zhivov. The concept is equipped with a high-tech autopilot system that uses the latest artificial intelligence technology to navigate. It is a promising solution for those with little or no sailing experience and who crave to be at the helm of a superyacht. The yacht is operated by an app on your smartphone. The idea is to be able to charter the yacht for a short trip and once aboard, choose a destination via the app and self-drive it with no captain needed. Equipped with the latest technologies along with futuristic design, Drakkar S was inspired by ancient Viking ships, and even named using the Norwegian word for "dragon ships". An electric motor powered by solar panels will push the yacht through the water while the interior features two master cabins, a well-equipped kitchen, two guest cabins, and a spacious salon.
