ADIDAS AND PARLEY BUILD A RECYCLED PLASTIC TENNIS COURT

What better way to enjoy a few rounds of tennis than by the sea? Parley for the Seas, founded in 2012 by Cyrill Gutsch, is a nonprofit environmental organization that works with a global network of innovators, thinkers, and leaders to safeguard our planet's oceans. Parley collaborated with Adidas, a global sportswear company with headquarters in Germany, to develop and construct a full-size, environmentally friendly tennis court in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. Parley for the Oceans, which is entirely made of recyclable materials, is dedicated to spreading awareness about plastic pollution in our oceans. The Great Barrier Reef was chosen as the location for Parley and Adidas' floating tennis court. Located on a barge that travels across the reef on a regular basis.
